Frequently asked questions.
Are sessions covered by insurance?
Both therapy and nutrition services are covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna PPO plans. If you have a different insurance provider, we may still be able to work with you using your out-of-network benefits.
How much do sessions costs?
Session fees vary depending on the type of service:
Psychotherapy (50 minutes): $150–$180
Nutrition counseling (60 minutes): $150–$180
Consultations (10-15 minutes): Free
We’re happy to provide superbills for clients using out-of-network coverage. Sliding scale options may also be available upon request.
Where are sessions held?
We offer in-person sessions at our Logan Square office in Chicago as well as virtual sessions for clients throughout Illinois. Additionally we offer nutrition services in the state of New York.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is about getting to know you — your story, your goals, and your needs. We’ll take time to talk through what brings you here, answer your questions, and begin building a care plan that feels safe, supportive, and tailored to you.
What does collaborative care mean at Willow Recovery Group?
At Willow, we believe true healing happens when mind and body are cared for together. That’s why we offer integrated therapy and nutrition services — meaning you can work with both a therapist (LCPC) and a registered dietitian (RDN) who collaborate to support your recovery.
This approach allows us to address the emotional, behavioral, and physical aspects of eating disorder recovery in a holistic, compassionate way. You won’t have to navigate your healing journey alone or worry about conflicting advice — your care team will be on the same page, walking with you every step of the way.
Benefits of collaborative care:
Consistent, aligned support from both therapist + dietitian
Deeper healing of both food + body relationships
Trauma-informed, compassionate approach from multiple perspectives
A safe, affirming space where your whole self is supported
Do you only work with eating disorders?
Not at all! While we specialize in eating disorders, our services extend far beyond that. Our therapist works with individuals from all backgrounds and supports a wide range of mental health concerns. Similarly, our dietitian can help with any nutrition-related needs—not just those tied to disordered eating.
We’re here to meet you where you are. Schedule a free consultation to see if we’re the right fit for you.
